Kiewa Valley from Falls Express

The view on the way home this morning after work. As you can see, there has been some natural snowfall, and a fair bit of rain in the Kiewa...

Thanks to the snowmakers...

Here is part of the cover of the local magazine, nice shot. Precipitation is falling as I write this, maybe enough for us to ditch the 4 wheel drives and use snowmobiles for all access!

Now who left that there...

You didn't want to park there, No, you really didn't! I think the old school bus is going to be a set of rails in the terrain park. If they don't move it soon we may bury it...

The thing making snow is an Areco Fan Gun; it has its own compressor so only requires a water supply as compared to also requiring compressed air (for the air water guns). These are a little more sensitive to warmer temps though, and the Air/Water guns make better snow in marginal temps.

Ski runs open on 100% man made...

Here is a picture of Drovers Dream (some of it) and also a photo of the only snowfall recently, a dusting, all gone now. Also a photo of how not to treat a chair!

Sunrise on snowmaking

...And so the sun rises on the snowmaking...
