Colour in New Farm Park

Here are a couple of images from spring/early summer in Brisbane. The petals of a Jacaranda in the shadow of the tree, and a red flower with the Jacaranda background...

Don't know what the red flower is though.

Early Morning on the Brisbane river

Not great sharp images - but it was very dark and I didn't have my tripod...

The tugs broke the mill pond finish of the river. Anybody who thinks the Brisbane river actually has much of a flow needs to see it at 4:45 a.m. !
